Creative Producer / Art Director (Brand & Content)
Full-time — Vancouver Hybrid (or remote for the right fit)
We’re looking for a Creative Producer / Art Director to shape how the world sees Goodland.
You’ll concept, capture, and craft the visual stories that define our brand. This role sits at the intersection of art direction and hands-on creation: you think like a director, shoot like a cinematographer, and edit like a storyteller.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead the visual direction for Goodland across photo, video, and digital.
- Produce short-form video, stills and graphics for social, ads, web, and launches - from idea to delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to test and refine ad creative - measuring and reacting on what moves people and what performs.
- Translate seasonal rhythms, new products, and rituals of outdoor life into compelling content.
- Maintain a rolling creative calendar that fuels both paid and organic channels.
- Be in the field - filming in forests, beaches, and backyards; hauling, setting up, and working with the products yourself.
- Be involved: move tubs, split firewood, light fires, work in all weather.
- When needed, hire and direct outside talent — models, photographers, stylists, or location crew.
- Build and manage a growing archive of Goodland imagery that captures our tone: elemental, natural, architectural.
- A visual storyteller with a strong point of view - you notice light, texture, and atmosphere.
- Experienced in both art direction and production - equally comfortable storyboarding, shooting or creating graphics.
- Skilled in short-form video editing (Premiere, CapCut, etc.) Graphic Design and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Curious about design, architecture, and the outdoors.
- Efficient, organized, and self-directed - able to produce a steady rhythm of content without a big crew.
- (Bonus) You’ve worked with design-forward brands or DTC products and understand performance metrics like ROAS and engagement.
Why It Matters
This role directly fuels growth, deepens brand equity, and keeps Goodland’s story alive in the world.
You’ll join a small, ambitious team building a design brand that’s growing quickly - where your work shows up daily and has visible impact.
Compensation & Details
- $65–85K annual salary, depending on experience. (CAD$)
- Full-time: Hybrid / flexible schedule.

Business Development & Partnerships
Goodland is growing — expanding our outdoor living collection and developing long-term relationships around the world. We’re looking for someone to help lead that growth through thoughtful, strategic partnerships: connecting with distributors, trade partners, and clients who share our values and attention to detail.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, business development, and relationship building. You’ll help identify new opportunities, guide partnership discussions, and ensure that Goodland's presence — from Australia to the UK and beyond — grows with integrity and consistency.
- Identify and develop partnerships with international distributors, retailers, and trade partners that align with Goodland’s brand and ethos.
- Lead communications and negotiate commercial terms with potential partners (pricing, timelines, territory agreements).
- Coordinate cross-border collaboration — from sample shipments and logistics to co-marketing and brand representation.
- Nurture relationships with designers, architects, and hospitality clients who use Goodland products in projects and spaces.
- Maintain organized outreach lists, follow-ups, and reports to ensure smooth progress and accountability.
- Collaborate with our internal team to share feedback, forecast opportunities, and refine partner support tools.
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have 4–7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or high touch sales (ideally with a design, architecture, or lifestyle brand).
- Have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills — you’re comfortable initiating new relationships and leading thoughtful discussions.
- Are highly organized and self-directed, with an ability to manage details across multiple projects and time zones.
- Appreciate design and craftsmanship, and can communicate those values clearly.
- Are fluent in English (additional languages such as Dutch, German, or French are an asset).
- Are comfortable using Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM or e-commerce tools (Shopify experience is a plus).
- Based in Canada, remote with flexible hours.
- Must be available for some PST daytime meetings and occasional early/late calls for overseas partners.
-
Occasional travel for trade visits, showrooms, or partner meetings.
