GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME

At GOODLAND, we believe in being slow and intentional in all that we do, and that includes product development. We take our time to consider the details, the life cycle, and the user experience to ensure that what we put into the world not only lasts but serves a purpose.

We iterate and test everything we design until an object truly feels right—hours upon hours go into researching, designing, testing, and sourcing high-quality partners.

And, we want you to be a part of that. Here, we’ll share updates on what we’re building, the problems we’re working to solve, and even give you hints at what we’re dreaming up.

PROCESS & PRINCIPLES

GOODLAND GUIDING PRINCIPLES

TOOLS FOR PAUSE

A bath isn’t simply a way to get clean, it’s an opportunity to slow down, pause, and bring yourself into the present. And each object we design at GOODLAND follows this same ethos—moving beyond simply something functional, and into an experience of pause and connection.

CONSIDERED DESIGN

We believe in meticulous design that considers every detail. This means thinking deeply about how an object will be used—the different situations and conditions users will face.  We work to ensure that every GOODLAND object is a genuine pleasure to use and leaves you feeling fulfilled and inspired.

QUALITY & CRAFT

Everything GOODLAND launches is designed to last a lifetime, and ideally, longer. We take our time to source premium, enduring materials that are kind to our planet. We do extensive research to find the highest quality partners we can, so we can pair these durable materials with exceptional workmanship.

IN GOOD COMPANY

Soak together. In many cultures around the world, bathing is traditionally a shared experience— finding community through the act of cleansing in hot water. Share the ritual of chopping the wood, of stoking the fire, and of taking that first step into wood-fired waters.

GOODLAND is currently in development of a tool that allows for a roomier soak.

Releasing into the current. An alternative way to soak, for spaces and situations when chopping wood and lighting a fire just isn’t meant to be. An easy setup, that remains a ritual unto itself with a great reward.
