The most common hose length ordered is 50 ft, followed by 100 ft. The 50 ft length typically is a good fit for urban yards, while 100 ft is needed for larger properties. The 25 ft is suited to small gardens or patios where a water source is close by. If on occasion you need a longer hose, consider buying and attaching a shorter length when required. A longer hose isn’t necessarily better, since water pressure diminishes as the length and weight of the hose increases.
If you’re looking for flexibility in your watering setup, such as needing water in different parts of your yard, consider a Garden Hose Splitter to connect two garden hoses to the same water supply source.
We recommend measuring from the faucet to the farthest spot where you’ll be using your garden hose with a measuring tape, or by counting paces and converting this to feet (on average 1 pace = 2.5 ft). Add a couple of extra feet to allow for flexibility in movement.
The Everlasting Garden Hose has standard GHT brass fittings which are intended to work with most North American garden watering accessories. We decided to make the Everlasting Garden Hose when our team struggled to find a garden hose that met our standards for exceptional quality and beautiful design. Unable to source a garden hose that considered both form and function and that would align with the rest of GOODLAND’s tools, we opted to make our own.
Yes, if you're planning to use your garden hose over the winter (such as to fill your hot tub or around your property), it's okay to leave it outdoors. If you don’t plan to use your hose, we recommend draining and storing it to keep it looking great. Learn how to winterize your hose.
Unlike most hoses, our Everlasting Garden Hose is manufactured in Canada and made to withstand very cold temperatures down to -13° F (-25° C). When using your hose during freezing temperatures, it’s a good idea to detach the hose from the faucet to ensure any trapped water doesn’t freeze.
The Everlasting Garden Hose weight varies by the length:
