FIRE

HEAT, FLAME, SMOKE

There are few things more universal than gathering around a fire. The flicker of the flame, the earthy smoky scent, the welcoming warmth in the cool evening air. Coming together over food and conversation around fire is something that our ancestors have done for hundreds of thousands of years — perhaps there’s something deeply ingrained in ourselves to still feel the draw of the flame today.

More often than not, a fire also means food. Cooking over an open flame is a grounding and satisfying experience, bringing people together and dropping barriers. The transformation of these raw, inedible ingredients into delicious, hearty meals was brought to life with the magic of fire.
