About Us
Rituals for a life well-lived
At GOODLAND, we believe in creating everyday rituals to help you connect with nature and find pause. Emphasizing the beauty of materials and considered design, we aim to create opportunities that help us break away from life’s hustle and enjoy the moment.
OUR STORY
In 2020, when the world shut down, it forced us—like many others—to pause.
This shift caused us to reflect deeply on how much we valued authentic connections and experiences in our environment, now more than ever.
As builders and designers, the desire to create runs deep in our blood. We began working to develop products that would enhance this new way of life, and the seeds of GOODLAND began to emerge.
Before founding GOODLAND, our Sunday family ritual included soaking in a round wood fired hot tub. From gathering firewood to stirring the water, we’d spend our mornings getting ready for an afternoon soak.
We started to dream up ways to enhance the bathing experience, from an improved hot tub design to immersive bathing accessories. Soon, the GOODLAND Wood Burning Hot Tub was created.
The modern design and unique shape were intentionally chosen to make it easier to transport, kinder to the environment, safer to use, and more comfortable. We also opted to build in Canada to exacting quality standards, envisioning a tub that would last a lifetime (or longer).

Founders of GOODLAND
“On Sundays we spend the morning as family, firing and prepping the tub for the soak. Every step is part of the experience towards the final reward: soaking in fresh water without any chemicals, heated with fire using wood we chopped.”
Built On Pause
In all that we do, we aim to create opportunities for connecting with nature and slowing down. Whether it’s breathing in cedar-scented air during a wood-fired soak or finding a moment of stillness as you water your garden, each object we design is intended to help you find a sense of pause and peace.
