Insulated Cover & Rigid End Cover Included
The Group Wood Burning Hot Tub is a mindful bathing ritual with room to share. Whether it’s family, friends, or guests, the Group Tub invites more people to slow down, connect, and create a moment that’s truly shared.
Crafted with care and consideration in Canada, our Wood Burning Hot Tub is made from enduring, durable, premium materials—marine grade aluminum and western red cedar—and available in two artisanal finishes, Natural Cedar or Soot Black. Thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind and 100% recyclable, the insulated tub is suited for hot or cold, fresh or salt water.
Wood fired bathing creates the most elemental and authentic outdoor bathing experience. If you’ve ever soaked in water heated by wood, you’ll know it’s much richer than just the bathing: it’s the splitting and stacking of the firewood, the methodical stirring of the water, the sound of the crackling fire, the anticipation of the heat.
Crafted with our signature cedar recliners and an oversized wood fired hot tub stove, it’s built for warmth, longevity, and presence. Like all GOODLAND Hot Tubs, the ritual begins with fire—offering 2-3 hours of anticipation, connection, and calm while the water comes to temperature.
Designed and made in Canada.
Based out of the west coast of Canada, our in-house design team ideates and prototypes concepts for new products out of our Vancouver design studio, or through partnerships with select artists and designers. Our Wood Burning Hot Tub is made in Winnipeg.
Setup
We’ve designed the assembly of our Wood Burning Hot Tub to be as simple as possible—setup requires no tools and takes only 10 minutes of your time. Our Hot Tub doesn’t require professional help, or electrical or plumbing installation (see for yourself how easy it is). This design only takes 15 minutes to drain, and is equally quick to disassemble with its removable pieces if you’d like to try your tub in a new location.

EXPERIENCE THE RITUAL
Features like a chimney heat shield, a submerged stove box with double-insulated lid, and a scald-proof handle are designed for a safer soak in a wood heated hot tub. The low profile height also makes it easier to step in and out, and shallower for kids to play in.
From curbside delivery to a simple no-tools-required setup, our removable cedar slats help make the Group Wood Burning Hot Tub lightweight and easy to move. No electricity or plumbing required—all you need is a water source nearby.
Our lounge-inspired cedar recliners are shaped with soft, rounded edges and a curved backrest for lumbar support—ensuring a relaxed, ergonomic experience for every person in the tub. Designed with group comfort in mind, the rectangular shape makes it easy for everyone to sink in and stretch out
Designed for groups, the 4+person format makes it easy to share the full Goodland soaking experience. The larger stove box efficiently heats a greater water volume, while the wide-opening design allows for easy access and movement. Every element—from the no-tool setup to firewood heating—scales effortlessly for shared use, making the Group Wood Burning Hot Tub ideal for families, friends, and hosting.
Our Wood Burning Hot Tub has a softer impact on the environment because natural bathing requires no chemicals or water treatment. It’s also made using 100% recyclable and locally sourced materials, and the water can be reused and recycled in your garden.
Designed For Peace Of Mind
Discover built-in features designed to maximize safety for all ages:

Creates a protective barrier around the chimney, helping keep hands away from the heat.

The stove box lid can get hot from the fire underneath—two layers of insulation and an angled wood handle help protect hands when removing the stove lid to stoke the fire.

Our lower profile Hot Tub makes it easier to get in and out, and shallower for kids.

A safer design than side-loading stoves, where burning logs can roll out.

Rests atop the chimney to prevent large sparks or embers from drifting into the air. Made from durable corrosion- and heat-resistant stainless steel, and designed to prevent clogging and minimize cleaning.
Premium Finishes
Choose between two lasting exterior finishes:
Natural Cedar
Sustainably harvested in Western Canada, cedar is favoured for its long-term weather resistance and beautiful grain. The aroma of water-soaked cedar subconsciously transports us back to nature. The natural cedar slowly weathers into a beautiful shade of silver as time passes and can easily be sanded or oiled for long term care.
Soot Black
To create our small batch, yakisugi-inspired Soot Black finish, we looked to our friend—artist and builder Anthony Esteves—for deep inspiration. Our process and material selection are inspired by his work, respect for legacy craft, and attention to detail. With an exterior crafted with heat-treated, blackened Nordic Pine, its texture is reminiscent of the subtle organic patterns of nature giving it an altogether unique look.

Designed and built in Canada from enduring, weatherproof materials that won’t rot in the rain or crack in the cold, our Wood Burning Hot Tub is purpose-built for all climates. The tub is triple-layer insulated, and has been freeze-tested to withstand the coldest winters of the Canadian Arctic.
If tub water freezes, build a small fire to slowly reheat the water.

Wood burning stoves work by containing the energy produced by the fire in the stove. The efficiency comes from controlling both the amount of wood and the supply of air to the fire, by opening and closing the lid to the stove.
- Keep the stove lid open when you start the fire with kindling
- Partially close the lid when the fire is established, but you still want more heat from the fire
- Close the lid when the water temp reaches 90℉ (it’ll gently climb to ~104℉) to limit the fire’s heat
- Use kindling to start and gradually add larger diameter wood to the fire, up to 4” wide
- Plan to use a handful of kindling and two armfuls of firewood, possibly more
Heat exchange pipes pass water over the fire, helping to heat up and circulate water throughout the tub. Hot and cold water will separate, but stirring with the wooden paddle evens out the temperature.
If the water feels too hot, just add cold water and stir.
A wood fired hot tub's water returns to ambient temperature when not in use, preventing harmful bacteria from thriving like it does in always-hot jacuzzi tubs. To extend water life, you can hook up a pool filter system using our Filter Adapter Kit to clean debris from water and improve water clarity. Additionally, the use of safer, non-chemical alternatives like bromine or hydrogen peroxide can prolong the life of your tub water from one to three weeks of daily use.
Prevent debris from getting into the water by covering the hot tub with the Rigid End Cover and showering before entering the tub. Lastly, using salt water is a great option for sensitive skin.
