Crafted from durable stainless steel with a western red cedar floor, our Freestanding Soaking Tub is available in your choice of a Natural Cedar or Soot Black exterior, and is built to withstand the elements. Thoughtfully designed for versatility, the Soaking Tub adapts to different types of bathing. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the tub functions beautifully as a cold plunge or warm soak, and can be filled using your existing water supply system such as a hose or designated faucet.
With a spacious interior, the tub fills quickly and requires little effort—just fill, step in, and let the experience unfold. No water treatment or chemicals required. Whether installed permanently or moved seasonally, your Soaking Tub will become part of your daily rhythm or weekend ritual, built to make slowing down a little more natural.

Natural Cedar
Sustainably harvested in Western Canada, red cedar is favoured for its long-term weather resistance and beautiful grain. The aroma of water-soaked cedar subconsciously transports us back to nature. The natural cedar slowly weathers into a beautiful shade of silver as time passes and can easily be sanded or oiled for long term care.
Soot Black
To create our small batch, yakisugi-inspired Soot Black finish, we looked to our friend—artist and builder Anthony Esteves—for deep inspiration. Our process and material selection are inspired by his work, respect for legacy craft, and attention to detail. With an exterior crafted with heat-treated, blackened nordic pine, its texture is reminiscent of the subtle organic patterns of nature giving it an altogether unique look.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fill your Soaking Tub using water through a designated faucet (premixed or standard), garden hose, or spigot. It fills easily with your existing water supply system, whether it's on-demand, tank, or boiler. For an elevated experience, we recommend pairing it with the GOODLAND Brass Outdoor Faucet.

The Freestanding Soaking Tub is designed to drain easily, thanks to a sloped base and oversized drain hole. It can be emptied directly into your garden or easily connected to your existing water system. Each tub comes with a drainage kit, which includes:
– A removable plug
– A 25-foot drainage hose with a shut-off valve
You can start draining the water from inside the tub or from the end of the hose, giving you control over where the water is released.
The Soaking Tub is the same interior size as our popular Wood Burning Hot Tub, and can accommodate two adults + two small children.
Yes, it is. Built from enduring, weatherproof materials that won’t rot in the rain or crack in the cold, our Freestanding Soaking Tub is purpose-built for all climates. The tub has been freeze-tested to withstand the coldest winters of the Canadian Arctic both filled and unfilled.
Yes, the Freestanding Soaking Tub can be installed indoors. Your plumber can connect it to the plumbing using the built-in 1.25” NPT threaded drain.
Since the surface of the Soot Black wood is sealed with a durable protective layer, no ongoing maintenance is required. However occasional touch–ups on exposed areas can be performed using black touch-up stain.
